For the Illinois Lottery we created a character named Gil Mitchell to alert the public when a Powerball or Mega Millions jackpot was getting high. This character is a goofy newscaster played by Andy Richter. We delevoped this idea while working with Downtown Partners as we handled the digital end.


Gil Mitchell came to life across social media spaces as well as being featured on the Illinois Lottery homepage. 

We had Gil interrupt various Illinois news webpages as the jackpot rose.


Gil also appeared on digital billboards located at CTA train stops.
